About Me
I am a Christ-follower seeking to see God and His purposes active and alive in my life. As a Life Coach, I am passionate about helping others do so as well.
Not only is coaching my chosen profession, I regard it my calling. Wasted ability and lost dreams are a tragedy. I desire to help people realize the potential God places within them.
We all need someone to believe in us. I want to be one of those support persons for my clients. I am devoted to drawing out their gifts and set in motion the special plans God has uniquely crafted for each one. There is no one else God has given the same set of life experiences, people to impact, and gifts and talents to explore. Only you can fulfill the calling God has for you.
We’re searching for treasure as we mine the gifts and talents God entrusts you to steward—some you know and perhaps some waiting to be discovered.
I love that I get to help people uncover hidden treasure, the desires of each client’s heart. I think about kingdom impact when we are all operating in the fullness of whom and how God designed us. That excites me. You alone have all the ingredients to live your best life on behalf of Christ.
How did I come to this calling?
Without Christ, none of it would be possible. I became a believer in Jesus Christ and He changed me in significant ways. Many of my coaching passions stem from things God (and the people He brought into my life) taught me.
- Identity in Jesus Christ and spiritual disciplines to grow in that truth
- Freedom in Christ when we know who we are in and through Him
- Life balance – and the regular reevaluation of what that looks like
- Exploration of God-given dreams, passions, and hope while here on earth
- Understanding our values and how those fit in with the vision God has for us
- Navigate change, because it’s inevitable. God designed us to do new things. It’s how we grow. Change is how we become. It’s part of the sanctification process. Therefore, we shouldn’t be surprised by the necessity of change.
The more I gained understanding of these things for myself, the more I wanted them for other women too. I will say, like everyone else, I am a work in progress. But God has done a lot to develop certain skills in my life. Listening to people and helping women navigate change is something God has equipped me to do.
I completed an intensive training program at Christian Coach Institute. Their program meets the criteria from International Coach Federation (ICF) and Christian Coaches Network International (CCNI). It was imperative for me to select a Christian program aligned with my values as well as one that equipped me with appropriate coach training.
It’s important you ask anyone you are considering as a coach where he or she obtained coach training. At this time, there is no legal training requirement to become a Life Coach.
I am also a member of Christian Coaches Network (CCNI). While I will not discriminate based on anyone’s belief system, I clearly spell out my belief in Jesus Christ to anyone seeking coaching.
Much of my equipping came while leading and serving in women’s ministry. I learned about myself and the women God calls me to during that time. Many of my gifts were refined and developed, some of which were brought to light in that season of serving. I was given responsibility to help oversee a team of volunteers, develop teaching content, and shepherd women corporately as well as individually.
One of the gifts God identified during that time was a love for writing. I write a faith blog at tracystella.com. The emphasis is on teaching through sharing of story and digging into Scripture.
I am married to a wonderful and encouraging husband. He is also a Life Coach, with a specialty in triathlon coaching and is USAT certified. We enjoy biking, hiking, and most outdoor activities. In the winter, we snowshoe together. It’s a great way to connect and let the silence of the snow envelope us as we talk and connect.
I have one adult child who has a compassionate heart. Music is definitely what he is most passionate about, especially connecting with the lyrics of a song. We have a special bond rooted in our time together while he was growing up and I was a single parent. One of my best memories was when we both got baptized together. It brought great joy to my heart to share that experience.
I also have a sweet puppy, Enoch, who keeps me company when I traipse through the forest preserve and connect with God while out in nature. He also helps me remember to pause and play throughout the day.
